For the 6th time we organising one of the most important kitesailing-event on the world the Kitesailing European Championship on the "Lake Silvaplana" (St. Moritz).

The competition has four disciplines (separate classification for lady's and men):
- race ski
- freestyle ski
- race snowboard
- freestyle snowboard

Depending on the number of registrations for the different disciplines, ski and snowboard kitesailers (lady's and men) will be starting together in the same heats. At the end of the week (out of the European Championship rating) as a high light we will be organising a Speed-Race for those kitesailers who likes to know how fast they can go!!!

Entry-fee:
For pilots with a valid racing-licence of a Kitesailing Club CHF 90.-
For pilots without valid racing-licence of a Kitesailing Club CHF 110.-

Prize Money: chf 1000.-

Prize-giving right after the competition in the tent at the lake.

Rules:
The rules are according to the Swiss Kitesailing Association. Every competitor has to wear his number visible on the body to make him recognizable and has to participate on the pilots briefings.

Schedule:
Depending on the wind and weather conditions, there will be every day race and freestyle heats.

Race & Course:
For the racing are needed min. 3 heats the max. will be 12 heats. There can be used triangle course, long-distance-race or others. One heat will be taking 20 to 40 minutes and a long-distance-race 1 to 2 hours.

Freestyle:
There will be a double-elimination, in one heat four pilots who can show their jump and jives in the marked freestyle area in front of the jury. One head will be taking 10 to 15 minutes.

Safety:
Helmet obligatory!!! The competitor has to be able at least to control his/her kite.
